Companion Dog Central was designed to be a trusted, centralized place for people to buy, sell, and share their companion, service, and therapy dogs. To keep the experience focused, helpful, and trustworthy for everyone, free ads are not permitted to include outside links.

We’re proud to offer a completely free way to advertise your dogs online, but there are a few simple rules to follow. Sticking to these guidelines helps ensure your ads are approved quickly and seen by the right audience. Failure to follow these rules may result in your account being disabled and/or any purchased subscriptions being terminated without refund.

**Rule 1.** No ads containing foul language, or rude/offensive comments will be permitted.
**Rule 2.** No duplicate ads. Duplicate listings will not be approved.
**Rule 3.** If your breed is not listed, you may not post that dog. You can suggest a breed through the contact page.
**Rule 4.** No “wanted” ads.
**Rule 5.** All free ads require approval before being displayed on the website.
**Rule 6.** Outside links are permitted for Kennel Account holders only. Free ads directing users to external websites will not be approved.
**Rule 7.** Accounts must be created using real names—no business names or abbreviations.

These rules are in place to maintain a clean, reliable marketplace where serious dog owners can connect with confidence.
