What’s New
We’re making the site easier to browse, easier to use, and more helpful for dog owners and breeders. Here are some of the improvements we’ve been working on.
A fresh look and everyday improvements
Easier browsing on your phone
We’ve refreshed the page layouts, navigation, and spacing to make the site more comfortable to use on smaller screens. Homepage images and buttons now have more room, so the artwork and text don’t compete for attention.
Better photo uploads
We’ve improved photo uploading and added clearer messages when something needs attention. Newly uploaded photos can now use smaller versions where appropriate, helping reduce the amount visitors need to download.
Simpler dog listings
New dog listings start with a blank price and an unset whelp date, so you can enter the details you know without first clearing preset values.
Clearer business listings
We’ve improved how directory listings connect to your account. Listings awaiting review are identified as “Pending Approval” in My Directory, making it easier to see where things stand.
More useful breed information
We’ve expanded breed information and buying guides, improved breed photos, and added links to the activities and traditional roles associated with each breed. Available guides vary by site and breed.
A smoother experience behind the scenes
We’ve corrected problems with searches and forms, tidied up account-management screens, and improved tools used to review and organize listings. We’re continuing to work on loading speed and consistency throughout the site.
